Thomas J. McLaughlin Scholarship Award

Every year, the Archbishop Ryan Ice Hockey Club awards a $1000. grant to a graduating Senior player towards their Freshman year college tuition fees.  The qualifications for the award are as follows:

·        Must be a 4 year Senior player;

 ·        Grade Point Average of 3.0 or better (or 80, please include a copy of your transcript);

·        A letter from their coach regarding their character;

 ·        500 word essay on the topic “what hockey has meant to them”;

 ·        Three teacher recommendation letters.

This information must be forwarded to the attention of John Robinson, at  , Phila Pa   no later than February 28, 2008.  The Award Committee will evaluate all applicants, regardless of team!The award will be given in 2 equal amounts of $500 at the beginning of each semester.  A copy of the tuition bill is required for payment.Should you have any questions,
